Last call for tears!

Hello lads and lasses!

As yet another successful Hulkageddon comes to a close, I am issuing one final call for tears associated with Hulkageddon before the judges pick the best tear of Hulkageddon.

Also a fresh batch of tears has been posted to the tears section.

So send ‘em on in before July 20th 0:00 EVE time if you wish to be considered for the prizes.

That’s a wrap!

And that concludes Hulkageddon 3!

My thanks to everyone for participating, and to all the sponsors and donors. Its been really great, wonderful atmosphere in the Hulkageddon 3 channel throughout the event, alround a fantastic experience!

I will return to you within the next few days with the list of winners, the damage totals and all kinds of fun stuff!

Preliminary count: 1719 exhumers, 717 barges, 29 orcas and 1 rorqual!

estimated damage: 288.988.568.617,00 ISK
(griefwatch estimate, will update with current market prices when the winners are posted)

A small note on fake mails

I am aware that there are some morons trying to post fake killmails to the board.

This is pretty pointless because:

A) we’re going to go through the kills anyways, and we will notice

B) big prize winners will be requested to hand over their API so we can verify the validity of their kills anyways.

So all you are doing is basically putting yourself on the shitlist of some pretty nasty corps and players :P

Kicking off the last weekend! (push for 2k?)

Howdy my friends, as we watch the sun set on friday here in Europe, we are entering that FINAL WEEKEND of Hulkageddon 3!

So far it’s been a blast, participation has been great, and more than ever before have players who are not in large corporations and alliances left their mark on the event. The Hulkageddon 3 in-game channel has been full of enthusiastic players making gangs and going out and having a great time!

This is of course a very wonderful development all on it’s own, and shows once again the potential of a sandbox enviroment.

We are currently sitting on 1478 exhumer kills, an impressive amount and no mistake!

…but do you think we can reach 2000 this weekend?

About

Hulkageddon is a semi-regular event which takes place in the MMORPG game EVE-online.

During the event contestants vie with each other to see who can destroy the most mining vessels within a given timespan.

This is the 3rd edition of the event, which hopes to top the previous one, that ended with the destruction of over 1,200 mining vessels.
